Halfway through 10 hours of low and slow for the latest batch of slow cooker pulled pork. Tried a dry rub, followed by overnight in the ‘fridge in plastic wrap. Will let you know how it turns out. Big bowl of whole wheat bread dough rising in the warm spot next to the crock pot. Will put the apple salad together at the last minute before we eat. It’a a pretty relaxed way to fix dinner. Am looking forward to a couple of weeks of knitting, writing, reading “Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, and time with family – not necessarily in that order. Won’t promise how much blogging I’ll be getting done, but you know how that goes.
